Life is all about finding balance in a crazy world. Amanda believes in constantly evolving and trying to better oneself in all aspects of life. Pilates is a wonderful way to do just that- to learn about your body through movement and exercise. Her goal in teaching is to create a fun atmosphere where others can learn functional movement in hopes her students will take it with them and apply it to their everyday lives. Thus, leaving them with more energy, less pain, improved strength and a better overall sense of well-being.
Amanda’s passion for being active first brought her to Pilates in 2011. As an avid runner she sought out a cross training workout that would help her to become a faster runner while toning and increasing flexibility. She quickly became addicted to the benefits of Pilates and now takes joy in bringing the practice into her everyday life.
Amanda began her journey as a Pilates Instructor in June 2015 when she started her teacher training. Since then, she has completed her Comprehensive certification through Balanced Body. In January 2016, she started teaching at The Perfect Workout, in Incline Village, and attributes this experience in helping to shape her into the teacher she is today. When Amanda is not teaching, you’ll either find her participating in a Pilates or Yoga class, or spending her days with her husband and two wonderful children.
